[OSEN=이정아 기자]8월 16일, 서울 잠실 올림픽 주경기장에서 열릴 예정이었던 SMTOWN LIVE ‘09가 잠정 연기됐다.
SM엔터테인먼트(이하 SM)는 동방신기 멤버 3인이 SM을 상대로 가처분 신청서를 낸 상태에서 예정대로 정상적인 콘서트를 진행하는 것은 불가능하다고 판단, 부득이하게 공연을 잠정 연기하기로 결정했다.
특히 SMTOWN LIVE ‘09가 SM패밀리의 화합된 모습과 다양한 무대를 선보이는 것이 주요 공연 취지인 만큼, 현 상황에서는 취지에 맞는 양질의 공연을 선사할 수 없다는 판단에서 이와 같은 결정을 내리게 된 것이다.
SM은 측은 “SMTOWN LIVE ‘09가 예매를 오픈 하자마자 매진될 만큼 뜨거운 성원을 받았던 공연임에도 불구하고 관객 여러분께 안타까운 소식을 전하게 돼 정말 죄송하다. 이번 공연은 특히 가족석과 장애우석도 마련 돼 가족, 친구들이 함께 즐기는 뜻 깊은 공연으로 자리매김할 수 있었기 때문에 더욱 아쉽다. 차후 더욱 좋은 모습으로 SMTOWN LIVE 콘서트를 성원해주시는 팬들 및 가족들에게 멋진 공연을 선사할 것을 약속 드린다”고 밝혔다.
