그룹 동방신기가 15일 오후 7시부터 서울 잠실 실내체육관에서 열린 '2008 Mnet KM 뮤직 페스티벌'(이하 2008 MKMF) 시상식에서 해외시청자상을 수상하고 있다.

이날 시상식에서 지난해 신인상 수상자인 원더걸스를 비롯해 마린보이 박태환, 야구선수 김현수, 배우 류덕환, 천데렐라 이천희, 윤진서, 홍수아, MC 허참, 주(JOO) 등 분야를 막론한 많은 스타들이 시상자로 나섰다.

올해 2008 MKMF는 가요계 10년을 총정리하는 축제로 대형 퍼포먼스가 대거 마련된 만큼 각 공연의 콘셉트에 맞는 가수들이 직접 출연해 공연의 의미와 에피소드 등을 리얼하게 소개했다. 국내 최초로 오픈릴레이 진행 체제를 채택한 이번 MKMF 첫 진행자로 가수 비(정지훈)가 낙점됐다.

또 샤이니, 2AM, 2PM, 마이티마우스, 유키스 등 신인상 후보에 오른 가수들이 90년대 아이돌 전성시대를 열었던 핑클, HOT, SES, god 등 인기그룹 공연을 재연하는 퍼포먼스를 펼쳤다.

한중일 동시 생중계된 MKMF 10주년 행사에서 SG워너비는 일본 마르노우찌 빌딩에서 위성으로 동시에 진행하며 가수 채연은 ‘소울 보이’로 유명한 중국 가수 방대동과 함께 천진TV 스튜디오에서 특별 무대를 마련했다.

올해로 10주년을 맞는 MKMF는 Mnet, KM, tvN, 올리브는 물론 한. 중. 일 동시 생방송되며 오후 5시부터 7시까지 레드카펫, 7시부터 11시까지 시상식이 생방송됐다.
