나이가 많은 멤버의 리더 선정은 리더의 가장 기본적인 조건인 통솔력과 멤버들간 결속력, 집중력을 다지기 적당하기 때문이다. 실제로 유노윤호의 경우 다섯 멤버 중 가장 카리스마가 넘치는 성격으로 다른 멤버들을 큰 신임을 받고 있는 리더다. 또 태연은 개성강하고 발랄한 9명의 멤버들을 차분하게 포용할 수 있는 성격을 갖고 있어 리더로서 역할을 충실히 하고 있다는 평가다. ○ 대변인형 "말은 내가 잘해"

각 그룹의 성격과 개성을 가장 잘 드러내줄 수 있는 멤버가 그룹의 리더가 되기도 한다. 빅뱅의 지드래곤(권지용)이 대표적인 경우다. 지드래곤이 리더라는 점은 빅뱅이 `싱어송라이팅이 가능한 실력파 댄스그룹`이라는 이미지를 극대화 시킨다. 음악이라는 내용물은 스스로 자신들이 표현하고 있는 음악을 만들고 타 아이돌 그룹과 차별성을 이룰 수 있는 가장 주요한 역할을 하기 때문이다.

2PM의 재범은 소속사 JYP에서 "국내 아이돌 그룹 멤버 중 최고수준"이라고 자부할 정도로 뛰어난 춤 솜씨를 갖췄다. 무대위에서 묘기에 가까운 퍼포먼스를 선보이는 2PM의 리더로 최적인 셈. ○ 입사순서형 "사회생활은 경력"

이들이 리더가 될 수 있는 것은 역시 아이돌 그룹의 시스템을 누구보다도 잘 이해하고 있다는 점이다. 그룹과 회사의 관계적 중요성을 간과할 수 없는 아이돌 그룹에게 리더는 회사의 입장과 멤버들의 입장을 가장 잘 조율할 수 있는 인물이여야 하기 때문이다.

물론 한 두가지 만족시킨다고 리더가 될 수는 없다. 특징별로 분류했지만 현재 활동중인 대부분의 아이돌 가수들은 위에 열거한 복수의 조건을 충족시키며 리더로서의 역할을 수행하고 있다. 하지만 역시 이들 각 그룹의 리더들이 공통점으로 갖고 있는 기본적인 조건은 역시 `멤버들간의 조화` 이룰 수 있는 포용력이다.

특히 눈길을 끈 것은 상을 받고 감격의 눈물을 흘린 아이돌의 모습이었다. 원더걸스의 예은과 동방신기의 최강창민은 한참동안 눈물을 흘려 팬들을 안타깝게했다.

이 모습을 본 열성팬들은 "나도 따로 울었다. 가수들의 노력이 결실을 맺은 것 같다"며 "눈물 흘린 모습에 진심과 열정이 느껴졌다. 힘내라"고 응원했다.

동방신기와 빅뱅, 원더걸스가 2008 MnetKM Music Festival(이하 MKMF) 대상을 나눠가졌다.

올해 첫 가요시상식 포문을 연 2008 MKMF는 15일 서울 잠실 실내체육관에서 성대하게 치뤄졌다. 이날 '올해의 노래상'엔 원더걸스의 '노바디' 가, 올해의 가수상은 빅뱅이 받았다. 올해의 앨범상은 동방신기가 가져갔다. 관심을 모았던 동방신기와 빅뱅의 첫 맞대결이 무승부로 끝난 셈이다. 또 원더걸스는 여자그룹이라는 약점을 딛고 올해의 노래상을 받는 이변 아닌 이변을 일으켰다.

여자가수상엔 이효리가 이름을 올리며 '핫 아이콘'다운 위력을 뽐냈고 신인남자그룹상은 샤이니가 2PM 2AM 마이티마우스 등의 추격을 뿌리치고 수상했다. 여자그룹 상은 '소핫'과 '노바디' 주인공 원더걸스가 받았으며 혼성그룹상은 올 4월 세상을 떠난 故 터틀맨의 거북이가 눈물의 수상 영광을 안았다.

올해 MKMF의 최대 화제는 역시 동방신기와 빅뱅의 대결이었다. 아이돌지존 동방신기와 신흥아이돌강자 빅뱅은 MKMF를 통해 정면 맞대결에 나섰다. 결과는 무승부였다. 동방신기는 올해의 앨범상을, 빅뱅은 올해의 가수상을 받으며 주요 부문을 양분했다.

국내 아이돌 지존자리를 지키던 동방신기는 그동안 일본 활동에 주력하다 올해 9월 4집 '미로틱'을 발표하며 국내 가요계로 컴백했다. 1년7개월 만에 국내에 컴백하며 30만장에 가까운 앨범을 팔아헤치우는 괴력을 발휘했다. '미로틱'은 한국 뿐 아니라 일본 대만 등 아시아 각국 차트에서도 1위에 오르며 아시아 최고 그룹다운 위력을 뽐냈다.

빅뱅은 지난해 가을 발표한 '거짓말'에 이어 '마지막 인사' '하루하루'를 연달아 히트시키며 국내 최정상급 아이돌로 자리매김했다. 최근엔 정규 2집 '리멤버'를 발표하고 타이틀곡 '붉은노을'로 활동을 시작했다. 빅뱅은 발표 앨범마다 타이틀곡을 각종 음원차트 1위에 올려놓으며 최고의 인기를 누렸으며 올 한해동안 43만장이 넘는 앨범을 팔아해치우는 괴력을 발휘했다.

女 아이돌 그룹 양대산맥 중 하나인 원더걸스는 여자 그룹 부문과 올해의 노래상을 휩쓸었다.

지난해 '텔미'로 화려하게 등장한 원더걸스는 올해 역시 '소핫'과 '노바디'를 잇따라 대히트시키며 2008 MKMF 여자그룹상을 수상했다. 특히 소녀시대가 올초 활동을 중단한 터라 원더걸스의 단독질주는 계속됐다.

원더걸스는 "지난해 신인상을 받았다. 올해 너무 큰 상 줘서 너무 감사하다"며 "정말 좋은 노래로 보답하겠다. 내년에도 이 자리에서 멋진 노래로 공연을 선보이겠다"고 소감을 전했다. 특히 멤버들은 감격을 이기지 못하고 눈물을 보여 감동을 더했다.

하지만 쥬얼리 브라운아이드걸스(브아걸) 등도 돋보이는 활약을 펼치며 끝까지 원더걸스를 추격했다. 쥬얼리는 올상반기 '원모어타임'으로 숙녀그룹 최강자다운 자태를 뽐냈고 브아걸 역시 '러브' '어쩌다'로 최고의 한해를 보냈다.

Seems like the grand come back surprises for TVXQ is not yet over as they have the highest online votes so far for the 10th MKMF Music Video Awards which will be held at 7 PM on November 15, 2008 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.

Super Junior Happy is at second place having 1,476 votes (0.98%) against 164,977 votes (97%) for TVXQ while the other nominees have less than a thousand votes.

It has been a year since Super Junior launched "A Man In Love" on their MKMF 2007 performance and it was Kyu Hyun's first big come back after his accident recovery.
